These are the ingredients you’ll need to make this recipe:
*Meringue nests
*Strawberries
*Yogurt
TIPS
Here are some tips you might find useful:
*Meringue nests: you can use shop bought or homemade; this recipe is a great way to use up broken or imperfect meringues.
*Strawberries: I used ripe and fresh strawberries. Replace the strawberries in this recipe with any fruit you like. It works really well with mixed berries or just raspberries or stone fruit such as peaches.
*In this recipe I recommend fresh fruit although using frozen works too and it might be a cheaper way of making this dessert.
*Yogurt: I used dairy free yogurt, but Greek yogurt is perfect here too, if you wish.
*This recipe can easily be doubled, tripled, or more!
TOPPING IDEAS
Let’s remember the right topping can add not only to the taste but to the nutrition too. See a few topping ideas here:
*Drizzle of honey or maple syrup
*Finely chopped nuts or seeds
*Chocolate spread
*Chocolate chips
*More fresh fruit
