I haven’t had energy balls for a while so I thought it’s time to make some! These nutritious little treats are an excellent source of protein, antioxidants and fibre amongst other healthy elements. Thankfully to their fibre and protein content they will keep you fuller for longer. 😊
TAHINI PROTEIN BALLS
(raw, vegan, gluten, wheat and refined sugar free)
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Total time: 5 minutes
Serves: 2
Ingredients
* 1 tbsp protein powder
* 1 tbsp cacao powder
* 6 tbsp ground almond
* 3 tbsp agave syrup
For coating:
* shredded coconut
* chopped nuts
Method
1. In a large mixing bowl stir everything together until combined.
2. Chill the mixture in the fridge for about 1-2 hours (you can skip this).
3. Take 1tbsp portion and roll the mixture into small balls with your hands.
4. Roll the balls into shredded coconut and/or chopped nuts.

Notes
**To Store: these balls keep in an airtight container in the fridge for 2-3 days.
**To Freeze: they can be frozen for up to 3 months.
