Chia Energy Balls

Can we ever get enough of the energy balls? I don’t think so! 😍I can’t stop loving them. 😍These handsome little Chia Energy Balls are such an easy and delicious treat. 😍πŸ”₯Which ones are your favourite energy balls? 😍

YOU’LL NEED
This simple recipe calls for only a few ingredients:
*ground almond
*chia seeds
*cacao powder
*maca powder
*chopped dates
*shredded coconut
*vanilla extract


TIPS

*you can roll the balls into the shredded coconut or alternatively, you can incorporate the coconut into the balls (see pic).

*when they ready, these energy balls are a bit sticky, just place them in the fridge for a few hours. 

*you can double the portion and pile these energy balls in your fridge/freezer for busy weekdays.

CHIA ENERGY BALLS

(no bake, vegan, gluten, wheat and refined sugar free)

 

Preparation time: 3 minutes

Total time: 3 minutes

Yields: 10 balls

 

Ingredients

* 2 cups ground almond

* 2 tbsp chia seeds

* 2 tsp vanilla extract

* 2 tsp cacao powder

* 2 tsp maca powder

* 2 finely chopped dates

* shredded coconut

 

Method

1. Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl.  

2. Take a tablespoon of the mixture and roll into a ball.

3. Roll the balls into the shredded coconut. Continue doing this until the mixture has finished. Alternatively, you can incorporate the shredded coconut into the balls (see pic).

Notes

*To Store: keep these balls in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days.

*To Freeze: they can be frozen for up to 3 months.
