YOU'LL NEED
Here's what you need to make this recipe:
Milk: for creaminess use milk (for example rice, soy, almond or oat milk) it also helps the ingredients blend. I like adding ½ to 1 cup of milk to the blender. For a smoothie without milk, use water, if you like.
Mango: you can use frozen or fresh. Before freezing, peel and cut into chunks.
Banana: for sweetest taste, best to use ripe bananas. For creamiest banana smoothie, use frozen banana slices.
Turmeric: I used turmeric powder, but if you find fresh turmeric, use ½ tablespoon that’s been peeled and chopped.
Protein powder: use your favourite.

Mango: helps to facilitate healthy digestion, boosts immunity and lowers cholesterol.
Banana: aids digestion, lowers blood pressure, protects against heart disease and strokes and sustains blood sugar.
Turmeric: has powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties due to its active agent, the curcumin. Turmeric may help to lower the risk of heart disease, may help delay ageing and aids with dermatological conditions.
Bear in mind that banana and mango are high in sugar and they must be eaten in moderation.
