This blueberry banana smoothie bowl is thick, creamy and naturally sweet. Made with a few simple ingredients, namely frozen bananas, blueberries and vegan yogurt, this bowl is one of the easiest breakfasts ever! Enjoy this healthy smoothie bowl for breakfast, snack or any time of the day.  😊



WHAT YOU’LL NEED

These are the ingredients you'll need for this recipe:

*banana

*blueberries

*vegan yogurt

 

TIPS

Let’s see a few tips:

*Fresh or frozen fruit works well. The more frozen fruit the thicker is the smoothie bowl.

*This smoothie bowl is naturally sweetened, however, you may want to add some sweetener/honey/maple syrup.

*Peel and slice the banana before freezing for easier use.

*Add either frozen banana or frozen blueberry if you like.

*Add some milk and you can enjoy a smoothie drink.

 

TOPPING IDEAS

There are a lot of ways to add more layers of flavours and nutrients, for example:

*nuts: almond, walnuts or hazelnuts

*fresh fruit: orange, raspberries or banana

*seeds: sunflower, hemp, flax or chia seeds

*spices: sprinkle a little cinnamon

BLUEBERRY BANANA SMOOTHIE BOWL

Total time: 5 minutes

Serves: 1

 

Ingredients

*1 frozen ripe banana, peeled

*1 cup fresh blueberry

*½ cup vanilla vegan yogurt 

 

Optional toppings:

*banana & orange slices

*chia seeds

*almond flakes

 

Method

1. Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender. If your blender is not high-speed add some liquid (orange juice for example). Blend until thick and creamy.

2. Pour smoothie into a bowl, top with your desired toppings.

Notes

*To Store: keep this smoothie bowl in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
