Vegan Avocado Chocolate Mousse

This super impressive recipe is made of healthy natural ingredients. Avocado and the banana provide a creamy texture, while maple syrup and vanilla extract add sweetness to this delicious dessert. The chocolate provides delicious richness and it’s a perfect quick option when you’re craving a sweet treat! This no-bake recipe is not only ready in no time, but it's also gluten free, vegan and refined sugar free! Yay!😊


 VEGAN AVOCADO CHOCOLATE MOUSSE

(gluten free, vegan and refined sugar free)

 

Preparation time: 10 minutes

Total time: 10 minutes

Serves: 2

 

Ingredients

*2 ripe avocados

*2 ripe bananas

*100 g vegan chocolate

*2 tsp vanilla extract

*⅓ cup maple syrup

Toppings

*shredded vegan chocolate

*cocoa powder

 

 Method

1. Cut the chocolate into chunks. Melt the chunks in the microwave until they have melted completely. Let it cool.


2. Add the banana slices, avocado flesh, vanilla extract and maple syrup to the blender/food processor and blend until creamy and smooth.


3. Fold it together with the melted chocolate until combined.


4. Spoon the mousse into serving glasses. Decorate with chocolate pieces, shredded chocolate or cocoa powder.

Notes

*Best fresh.

*To Store: you can keep it in the fridge for up to 3 days. Store in an air-tight container and take out 10 minutes before serving.   

*To Freeze: it keeps for two months in the freezer.
