Apple Nachos with Peanut Butter and Chocolate Drizzle

Nothing’s easier than getting our one apple a day in the form of a satisfying snack! The combination of apple, peanut butter and chocolate drizzle makes it one of the tastiest homemade snacks ever! This apple nachos can be not only a great snack but even a crowd-pleaser appetizer. This is the perfect 3 ingredient snack which is ready in under 5 minutes, moreover it’s vegan and gluten free, and last but not least: no cooking required! So irresistible! 😊


YOU’LL NEED

These are the ingredients you need for this recipe:

*Apple: feel free to use any kind of apples for example, Bramley, Gala or Jonagold, you can’t go wrong!

*Peanut butter: get your favourite brand!

*Chocolate spread: vegan chocolate or chocolate spread, no strict rules!

 

VARIATIONS

There are a lot of ways to add more layers of flavours and nutrients, for example:

*finely chopped nuts: almonds, walnuts or hazelnuts

*seeds: sunflower, hemp, flax or chia seeds

*spices: sprinkle a little cinnamon

*vegan chocolate chips

*caramel drizzle

APPLE NACHOS with PEANUT BUTTER and CHOCOLATE DRIZZLE

 

Preparation time: 5 minutes

Cooking time: N/A

Total time: 5 minutes

Serves: 2

 

Ingredients

*3 apples, washed, dried

*chocolate spread

* peanut butter

 

Method

1. Core and cut apples into quarters, then slice the quarters into thin slices. On a plate arrange apple slices on top of one another.  

2. Warm up peanut butter or chocolate spread if required, then drizzle over the top of the apple slices.

*To Store: keep this snack in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
